The Inner child in me

Image

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

For me, my playtime is when I am with my dog playing hide and seek. For me , playtime is when I am engrossed in drawing or painting something or writing something. Creativity inside me dances when I am around my loved ones and at peace.

Often, when people grow up they feel they are old enough to play but I feel the more older you are the more necessary it is to play . It not only kills stress inside you but also shakes up the inner child who sometimes chooses to sleep deep just because you refuse to acknowledge his presence inside you and hence you end up playing not sports but games .Games which ruin others life, time and energy. That makes you happy? But for how long? Think about it.

I pamper the inner child in me

I play with my dog

Spend time with my family

Ignoring my enemies

I pamper the inner child in me

When I clean my garden

Walk around and meet strangers with a smile

I pamper the inner child in me

When I exercise my body

And listen to its plea

Sometimes I enjoy my sleep

I pamper the inner child in me

When I spend time with my family

When I pray for those whom I just met

And they share their agony

I pamper the inner child in me

In various ways

But hey what about thee?
